    [FAIE: Tourism and Travel Management] Seminar on Evaluating the 2025 Curriculum and Learning Outcomes of the Tourism and Travel Management Program

    The Faculty of Management – International Economics Organizes a Seminar to Enhance the Quality of the Tourism and Travel Management Program

    On March 17, 2025, the Faculty of Management – International Economics successfully organized a seminar to evaluate the Curriculum (CTĐT) and Learning Outcomes (CĐR) of the Tourism and Travel Management program. The event was attended by faculty members, industry experts, and business representatives, providing comprehensive, updated, and practical perspectives for the training program.

    The seminar was attended by key faculty members, including:

    • Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tân – Dean of the Faculty of Management – International Economics

    • M.A. Tạ Thị Thanh Hương – Vice Dean

    • M.A. Phan Phan Hải – Head of Tourism Management and Operations Division

    • M.A. Vũ Đức Cường – Head of Tourism Professional Practice and Tour Guiding Division

    The event also welcomed distinguished guests from reputable organizations:

    • Mr. Trần Đăng Ninh – Chairman of the Dong Nai Tourism Association

    • Ms. Trần Thu Hương – Lecturer at Dong Nai University of Technology

    • Mr. Võ Tấn Kiệt – Director of Võ Gia Travel & Event Company

    • Ms. Lê Thị Thu Trang – Alumna, Specialist at Đất Việt Tour Company

    The seminar was not only an opportunity to review and assess the training program but also a platform for experts to propose improvements, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the labor market.

    At the seminar, M.A. Phan Phan Hải presented a detailed overview of the program curriculum. Guest speakers then provided valuable feedback:

    Mr. Trần Đăng Ninh emphasized:
    “The tourism industry has become one of the key pillars of the economy, requiring highly qualified human resources. The faculty’s training program has met practical demands to a certain extent. However, to make a strong mark in the industry, students need to proactively shape their career paths and develop their skills from their university years.”

    Ms. Trần Thu Hương stated:
    “The Tourism and Travel Management program not only meets the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training but also aligns closely with the university’s vision and mission. Students are equipped with in-depth knowledge and practical skills to confidently enter the professional working environment.”

    Mr. Võ Tấn Kiệt shared:
    “There is nothing more important than allowing students to access real working environments early on. We hope for more cooperation between enterprises and the university to create practical activities that help students strengthen their skills, competence, and professional confidence.”

    As an alumna, Ms. Lê Thị Thu Trang added:
    “The current curriculum is quite aligned with real-world practice. However, the most important factor is each student’s proactive attitude—continuous learning and improvement from the smallest things to build a solid foundation for the future.”

    The seminar not only assessed the program’s quality but also provided strategic directions for future development. Key objectives include:

    • Continuously updating and innovating curriculum content to ensure practicality and alignment with tourism industry trends.

    • Expanding partnerships with enterprises to create more internship and practical experience opportunities.

    • Strengthening networking activities and expert seminars to connect students with the labor market.

    The Faculty of Management – International Economics remains committed to enhancing teaching quality and accompanying students on their career development journey, meeting the evolving demands of society and enterprises in the tourism and travel sector.

    The seminar concluded with valuable insights and strong encouragement for both lecturers and students. It was not merely an evaluative event but also a driving force for innovation and creativity in teaching and learning.
