As part of a community support program launched by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai city, LHU donated 25 computers to Loc Thanh Primary and Secondary School in Loc Thanh commune to support teaching and learning activities.

The donation is part of the “Lac Hong Knowledge Journey” program, which aims to provide students in remote and border areas with better access to computers and technology.

25 computer sets were donated to Loc Thanh Primary and Secondary School in Loc Thanh commune

In addition to the 25 computers donated by LHU, Lac Hong Bilingual School contributed another 25 computers. In total, 50 computers sets were donated to Loc Thanh Primary and Secondary School in Loc Thanh commune and Dak Mai Secondary and High School in Bu Gia Map commune.

Before being delivered, the computers were carefully checked and prepared by LHU’s technical team to ensure that they were ready for use. The team also supported the installation and setup of the equipment at the schools.

Previously, in 2025, the two institutions donated 40 computer sets, along with desks and chairs, worth a total of VND 300 million, to Tan Thanh B Primary School and Tan Thanh Secondary School in Tan Tien Commune.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh, Vice Rector of LHU, computers are becoming an essential learning tool in education today. “This is not simply about adding facilities, but also about creating more opportunities for students to practice, helping teachers make better use of digital learning resources, and enabling students to gradually develop the technological skills they need for learning and everyday life”, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh shared.

The donated computers will give students better access to Information Technology and access digital learning resources. Through hands-on activities, students can develop their computer skills and explore new sources of knowledge.

The program also reflects LHU’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. By supporting schools in remote areas, LHU hopes to contribute to improving learning conditions and expanding students’ access to technology.

Through the “Lac Hong Knowledge Journey”, LHU and Lac Hong Bilingual School continue to bring practical support to students and teachers, contributing to a more equal learning environment for students in different parts of the country.
