LHU students win Excellence Award at the 17th DSP Creative Design Contest

Three students including Nguyen Dac Mai Khanh, Tran Le Yen Nhi and Nguyen Quoc Cuong from Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of English Language and Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics, LHU on March 18 won the Excellence Award at the 17th Digital Signal Processing Creative Design Contest held by Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology in coordination with Taiwan Ministry of Education.

The contest revolves around the topic of digital signals, comprising seven groups "Software and Embedded Platform Applications", "Green Energy and Controlling Applications", "Health Care Applications", "TEMI IoT Applications", "Microchip Digital Signal Processors", "AI Digital Signal Processor Applications" and "International Group".

This year's Creative Design Contest saw the competition of 14 teams from 7 universities

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the contest is held in a hybrid format. The 17th DSP Creative Design Contest kicked off in January, attracting the participation of 14 teams from 7 universities in 3 countries. This year's total prize is NT$35,000 (more than VND 27 million). The LHU team was honored to enter the final round and won the Excellence Award with the instruction of Mr. Phan Thien Phuoc - lecturer of the Faculty of Information Technology.
